I’ve had two aborts in two days under WIndows 11 Home (current with updates) on an ASUS Vivobook laptop.
That’s odd! I think @bvijay added a fix for this on the latest version. Any idea what’s going on here @bvijay ?
All the crash causing issues that I observed were fixed in 1.1.31.0.
@Reverend_Jim Can you please confirm, if FxSound version 1.1.31.0 got updated correctly from the Settings > Help page or from FxSound.exe file properties.
Can you please let us know of the scenario which causes the crash?
Updated? Yes. Correctly? How can I tell? I can’t say what the scenario is. The two times I aborted were times when I was away from my computer for several hours (unthinkable, right?). I generally update when notified by FxSound that there is an update available.
If I could request one very minor change? When I go to the help screen to get the version number, the text is not only very tiny, it is also very faint and hard to read. Could you possibly make it as bright as the “Version” text immediately above?
Sorry to hear you can’t see the version number in the FxSound app. To be sure, could you uninstall and reinstall using the latest download link from FxSound? Download FxSound - Boost Your Sound On Windows
Done. I’ll let you know if there are any problems. Thanks.
