Greetings @bvijay,
From what I can understand, Version 1.2.1.0 includes the fixes implemented in Version 1.1.36.0.
The thing is, since there are now two versions of FxSound—the original and the version with @Theremino improvements—it can be a bit confusing.

Hi @Shepard-N7

Yes, the beta version 1.2.1.0 includes the fixes done in 1.1.36.0.

I understand your concern. Version 1.1.36.0 has gone through some testing and I have made it as latest. After some testing I will make 1.2.1.0 as the latest. I goal is to bring in the improvements done by @Theremino soon.

v1.2.1.0 is promoted as the latest release

v1.2.2.0 beta is released with several improvements and bug fixes

  1. Application window position is saved and restored to fix the bug where the window was appearing in the wrong monitor in a multi display systems
  2. To fix the bug where some devices were not automatically enumerated, devices are enumerated when the output devices dropdown list is opened
  3. Automatic updates can now be enabled/disabled from settings
  4. Reset presets button is moved to audio settings pane
  5. Restore Defaults button is added to restore audio controls in settings
  6. Visualizer algorithm optimizations
  • The automatic device detection failures particularly with bluetooth devices is addressed by refreshing the device list manually when you open the output devices dropdown list. So, there is no need to close and reopen the application. I will continue to debug the automatic detection failures.
  • In the Settings → Help, an option is given to enable/disable Automatic updates. So, the update prompts can be avoided from v1.2.2.0 onwards.
