Hi José,
Thank you once again for your help with testing and sharing valuable information.
Sorry for the troubling you to check and confirm the file version and test again.
The information that you shared on the scenario that only when selected as preferred device and turning off the device the word “[Mono]” gets added, is very valuable to us.
I am able to replicate the issue with this information and fix the issue.
The updated release v1.1.27.0 is now available as beta at https://github.com/fxsound2/fxsound-app/raw/beta/release/fxsound_setup.exe
Thank you for your support and helping us to improve FxSound.
Along with greetings, I tell you that I installed version 1.1.27 and it works very well. You have managed to remove the Mono line that appeared in the list by turning off the preferred output, which is positive. I also like and share the solution you implemented for the preferred output, keeping this Stereo output in the list when the device is turned off. In this way, when the device is turned on again, this output is activated as preferred output. As information I tell you that when the preferred output is turned off (when this device is turned off), its stereo version remains in the list, as seen in the first screen that I include in images below. I do not think it is necessary to change this, as it seems to me to be a clean and profitable solution.
One aspect that I would like to point out is that the installer .exe grown quite a bit in size. It grew from 58 MB to approximately 70 MB. In the second image below I show you this growth in the size of the installer. Is there any underlying reason for this growth? If there was no underlying reason, something could have been missing compacting or perhaps something could be duplicated.
Hi José,
Thank you for testing the latest version 1.1.27.0 and confirming that the changes are working fine. We are glad that the preferred output feature is helpful for you and the device getting activated when turning off and turning on again.
In this version we have added support for a new language - Chinese (Traditional) which required three new font files of NotoSansTC to be included in the installer. The new file additions have caused the increase in size of the installer.
Thank you for your support!
Maybe you didn’t understand. Version 1.1.26 whenever you minimized to taskbar it would was stable but click the X to minimize systray area and it would crash.
1.1.27 beta the problem went away so either kind of minimizing works now.’’
Im using win10 LTSC.
I think when you passed up version 1.22 fxsound could run along with nahamic and 1.127 fixed that also.
Hi Randy,
Yes, I mistook that version 1.1.27.0 is crashing.
Good to hear that the crashes that you found with minimize to systray and nahamic are fixed now.
