V1.2.4.0 new conflict vs V1.2.3.0

I just reinstalled Windows 11 and the LATEST version of FxSound v1.2.4.0. It hangs up trying to forcibly take over the sound output device without permission. My Windows 10 install works perfectly fine on the same computer with the same setup of programs and sound devices. The only difference is that Windows 10 has v1.2.3.0 installed and Windows 11 defaults to v1.2.4.0. As soon as I found and installed v1.2.3.0 to Windows 11 everything works fine.

Details: I use a sound compression program called Breakaway Audio Enhancer v1.44 that is similar to the sound processors radio stations use to equalize music. FxSound is the only thing that works in line with it adjust the output for clarity in specific settings such as voice enhancement, like in Motorola 2 way radios for clarity in noisy environments. FxSound v1.2.4.0 refuses to allow the Breakaway Audio Enhancer to continue to function as it tries to force the default audio device to be the system speakers by overriding the system settings without permission. FxSound v1.2.3.0 and prior versions did not do this and worked just fine in harmony with other programs.

I am not a software programmer and do not know the reason for this change. All other enhancements to FxSound seem to work just fine. Can FxSound to corrected to resolve the conflict, since it does not seem to be a critical necessity for FxSound to function properly?
