Hi!
The volume slider eventually gets set to 100% on its own randomly. If you force it to lower it, it still goes back to 100% after some time.
FxSound is set as the Default Device. In Windows Sound Settings, “Disable Exclusive Mode” is enabled. I’ve reinstalled FxSound.
Nothing helps. How can the problem be fixed?

In which version of FxSound do you see this problem?
at least from 1.2.2.0+
In the latest beta version v1.2.12.0 I have fixed the mute and volume setting synchronization between FxSound Audio Enhancer device and the physical device.
Can you please give it a try?

It looks like the problem has gone away. At least, over the past 30 minutes, the volume slider has stayed where I left it. 
I’ll leave feedback tomorrow morning.
UPD. Unfortunately, the problem remains; it didn’t help.

Is the volume level changing even if you don’t change the output device?
Are there any steps to follow to reproduce this issue or does it always happen randomly?
I genuinely don’t understand how this works.
At first, I thought it was resetting the settings because the computer was going into sleep mode incorrectly, but no, it doesn’t depend on that.
Then I thought maybe my browser somehow affects the sound settings when I open, for example, YouTube or something like that, but again, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Right now, for example, I switched the default device in the settings from FXSound to my sound card and back again, and the volume level hasn’t been reset for the past two hours. I can’t figure out how this works.
UPD. I think I’ve found the problem. I have an infrared barcode scanner connected to my computer, and it turns out that FxSound conflicts with it when I turn it on. Sorry if I added to your headache.
