Sound Fluctuations

I am using DFX version 1.1.27.0. Recently I came across sound fluctuation issue. I have tried contact Microsoft Chat and they uninstall and reinstall the drivers on Device Manager. After few hours the problem started again. Then I tried contacting Microsoft Chat again, and they did the same actions as the previous chat. It works for 10 minutes then the sound fluctuations started again.

Today, I followed the same steps as the Microsoft agents. I uninstalled the DFX program and restarted my PC. The sound fluctuations were gone. Then, I reinstalled DFX, and immediately the issue started.

What I meant by sound fluctuations? Whenever a program is started, the volume will raise up little bit until the program is fully loaded. After that the sound will be back to normal volume.

I hope you could help me on this issue.

Are you hearing the sound fluctuation when selecting any particular audio output device or is it across all devices?
Can you try changing the FxSound preset, adjust the equalizer and audio effects and see if the fluctuation goes away?

The fluctuations can be heard across all devices.

I have tried changing the FxSound presets, adjusting the equalizer and audio effects, but the fluctuation persists.

Can you please share the system information of the PC where you have installed FxSound, like OS version and hardware configuration.
Have you installed any other audio enhancement applications? If multiple applications try to process the audio stream it might impact the audio.

Windows 11 Pro 24H2
RAM: 16GB
DFX version 1.1.27.0.
Spatial Audio: Set to Dolby Atmos for headphones (I have tried set it to OFF but no changes)

No any other audio enhancement application was installed.

Hi @Manochvarma,
Such audio can also be caused If exclusive mode is enabled on the playback device and any exclusive mode application tries to the use the playback device.
So, please check exclusive mode setting also for the devices.
