I have an issue with Windows 11and FXSOUND, where at random, FXSOUND will change the output device. It is correct in Windows sound devices, as it says FXSOUND, but I have my main device at the top of FXSOUND device list but it changes to another device and I have to switch it back. Sometimes I will be in the middle of listening to something. How do I stop this?
check the volume mixer [search in the start apps panel], hit reset, also one trick i know to always work is right click fxsound tray icon, choose the device. The panel isn’t reliable for device switch atm idk why but hopefully mr.B will have a look into it later.
