I’m experiencing an unusual issue with FXSound that I haven’t encountered before. I’ve been using the software for around a year without any problems.
The issue is that FXSound’s Enhanced Audio seems to work on either my headset or monitor, but not both correctly.
FXSound Driver Enabled:
-
Enhanced Audio works through my monitor speakers.
-
My headset stops working correctly.
FXSound Driver Disabled:
-
Enhanced Audio works through my headset.
-
My monitor speakers no longer receive the enhanced audio correctly.
What’s particularly strange is that even with the FXSound driver disabled, Enhanced Audio still appears to be working through my headset.
However, as soon as I enable the FXSound driver, the headset stops working as expected and the monitor becomes the only output where Enhanced Audio works.
I’ve never had this issue during the past year of using FXSound, and I’m unsure what has changed.
Could you help me identify what might be causing this? I’m wondering whether there’s an issue with the virtual audio driver, Windows audio routing, or a recent FXSound update.
I’d appreciate any troubleshooting advice. I’d really like to get both my headset and monitor working correctly with Enhanced Audio again.
