Is there still a way to buy old DFX in special cases? I can't use Fxsound

Hi All -

I just got a new Razer Blade 16 which is amazing except for the speakers. I tried FXsound, and while the impact on audio was great, I couldn’t get rid of a decent amount of latency. I tried all sorts of troubleshooting, but I think it’s the nature of the software. It’s a brand new device - so should have the processing power.

That said, I saw on the FXsound website that DFX, an older version, could be downloaded. Well lo and behold, I get a similarly positive impact on sound but with nearly no latency. I’m just using the standard processing / classic processing. When I went to try and buy it, the site said it’s not for sale anymore.

I understand it’s deprecated, but if it’s working for me, can I buy it / make a donation so I can continue to use DFX?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Never mind on this - I am having other issues with DFX. If there is a why to buy it, because there is no latency, I’d still like to know.

Sorry we don’t have a way for you to buy DFX unfortunately. We had to discontinue the registration servers due to the costs and our limited resources. And it would take us some work to remove the registration verification from DFX and support that alongside FxSound.
