It seems that i have encountered a reproduction problem.
I am using audio booster and enhancer with Firefox (main browser) and have noticed that the tools do not work when streaming series or YT, FXsound is predetermined in windows sound.
With the sound card as the main driver it worked before.
I am assuming you mean the difficulty is combining FxSound with the audio in FireFox, and I would take it to be a no-sound-type-problem, instead of the audio simply not getting boosted, since you also mentioned the computer’s sound card worked before.
Pointing to the standard troubleshooting list, is stating the obvious at this point, as is suggesting a different browser, or temporarily disabling the FxSound Speakers device.
Have you checked all the extensions and plugins in FireFox, is the browser updated to the latest version, and have you tried deleting any excess cookies and data?
I always use the latest FF beta from Mozilla FTP Pub, I use an automated cleanupscript for FF cache/Storage/SQL Database and so on, frequently, third party cookies are always deleted.
I have been using the same 30 addons for years, which are only replaced with other addons that have the same features when they become dysfunctional.
My FF is heavily modified, I am quite familiar with Mozilla.
Audio EQ/Compressor worked fine with soundcard, but not with FXSound, changes do not work, disable/enable also without effect.
Okay. So is this a recent problem, since v1.1.26.0 or v1.1.27.0 then?
Wait.
Am I understanding this right: you’re trying to combine multiple audio enhancers?
If so, could you provide a link to the second one?
Not Multiple in combination.
it’s an FF addon to enhance streaming video or audio.
It would have been helpful if you had made your first post clearer, with a more precise description of and/or link to the thing that wasn’t working, since this doesn’t say much,
This is the GitHub page of the Vatara Audio Compressor plugin. Since FxSound seems to be working on your machine, consider also asking your question there:
Did the problem start with one of the recently released versions of FxSound? Or has it been present all those years?
This is a similar compressor plugin you could try,
after heavy systemfailure and clean reinstall Audioboost works perfect now with FXSound, the only negative is there is no save-per-site option, but enhances good… thanks for help!
