FXSound no longer detects laptop speakers

Hi,

A few months ago, FxSound worked fine. It detected both my laptop speaker and my headset. I could switch between both and all was well. At some point, either my computer updated or FxSound did, but it’s like my laptop speakers no longer exist.

The default speaker isn’t in device manager, sounds, or anything. Even when I unplug my headset. I reinstalled FxSound, same thing. Only thing I haven’t done is uninstall FxSound completely.

Sorry about this. Try uninstalling FxSound completely to see if it returns to the device manager.

Sorry for the delay, been busy. I will do this tomorrow and let you know.

I’ve been having the same problem on my Windows 11 latop (ASUS Vivobook S 14). I boot up my laptop, with FxSound v1.1.33.0 running in the background. After I plug in my Logitech headphones, quite often FxSound does not show them on the list of available devices until I Exit FxSound from the tray and restart it.

No dice. My default laptop speakers still don’t show.

Is only specific device like laptop speakers not getting listed in FxSound? FxSound filters single channel mono devices. So, one reason for the device not being listed is that it could be configured as a mono device. Can you please check this?
