The "Playback Device Select" only shows my laptops speakers

The “Playback Device Select” only shows my laptops speakers and not FXSound as it is the case with my other laptop. I remember I had the same issue on that one too, but forgot how to solve this issue.

Any halp? Thanks!

You mean in Windows? Please try uninstalling and reinstalling: Download FxSound - Boost Your Sound On Windows

Yes, in Windows 11. I did it several times and still no FX Sound on the playback device window…

Can you send a screenshot of what you do see please?

Yes, of course! this is what I see in the dropdown menu.

Only the standard speakers on my Lenovo appear and no option to switch to FXSound.

Thanks for that. “FxSound Speakers” will be a playback device option in Windows (which we will auto select so that FxSound works. FxSound basically acts a as go-between from your computer to your playback device (for example the Senary Audio speakers you have). So it won’t be shown within the FxSound app. Just in Windows.

Hope that clears things up. Let me know if it doesn’t!

It shows clearly on my other laptops though.
I think it doesn’t work in this as the sound is not amplified like in the other laptops. Only the equalizer makes a difference.

@perrygogas it is not possible that “FxSound Speakers” gets listed in the device selection dropdown in FxSound application. We filter it out while listing since it is our virtual device for capturing the audio streams for processing.

I do not fully understand, but the issue is that I get no volume amplification in this laptop…
