YouTube Videos Echo Over Zoom Screen Share

I have really been enjoying this product. It has been fixing a lot of my audio quality issues on my computer, on my end.

An issue that I have come across though, is that whenever I share a YouTube video over Zoom, it echoes very badly. It is as if the track is playing twice with about a second or two second delay.

Everything else works fine though. When I talk using the microphone it’s fine, when people talk back to me it’s fine, it just seems to show up whenever I try to share a YouTube video over a zoom session. I have tried muting my microphone, and muting everyone else’s microphone, but that didn’t fix the issue. I don’t get the echo on my end but everyone else definitely does.

If I close out the FxSound program (all the way) the echo goes away but then I’m back to having not great, and at times painful, sound again. Is there a fix for this bug? I had our IT people look at it, and they weren’t sure how to fix it and suggested I contact you folks. We tried changing the Zoom settings to just recognize the FxSound speaker as the speaker, but that didn’t help either.

Hi Vick.
Your issue reminds me of this comment.
By the way, there’s a summary of alternative audio enhancers included at the end of the troubleshooting list bannered and pinned to the top of the forum.

You might also try quitting FxSound before sharing YT videos over Zoom and then starting again once you’ve stopped.
