What exactly does the clearity filter?

I love your clarity filter and I wonder what exactly it does?

Hi Sir Lancelot,
The Clarity slider boosts a number of the higher frequencies from 2K to 20K (a.k.a. “treble”) in a general and controlled way.
I was not involved in the creation of the software, so I don’t actually know the specifics that went into its programming - but I can certainly agree that the result is very pleasant to the ears.
You can see the position of the treble frequencies on the spectrum on this graph, for example:

Thx you for this information, but I wish I can get it a bit more specific with frequencies are increased by this filter

I’m afraid those exact specs are, in all likelihood, lost forever.
FxSound - or, as it was previously known, DFX - was originally developed by a team led by James’ father.
James inherited the company after his father’s passing, and the current team behind the software is completely different (as well as much smaller).
But, I’ve sent a message to the team to ask for this information on your behalf nonetheless.

Hi @SirLancelot12345
By looking at the DSP code I couldn’t find the exact function of the Clarity filter at the frequency level. I see that the filter values are passed as parameters to the DSP for quantization. But at the moment I couldn’t go more deeper in the code to find the answer you are looking for.
