Sometimes you can hear a squeak… Sometimes you have to turn it off and on again FxSound. Then the squeak disappears

Do you see any specific pattern when this happens?
Particular preset or equalizer setting. Can you provide the link to the audio clip if possible to reproduce the issue.

I’d like to know if anyone else is noticing this? Or is the problem with my sound card, not FxSound.
The squeak is very quiet coming from the speakers. It may go unnoticed unless you listen for it specifically. But it disappears if I restart FxSound and reappears once a day.
That kind of very quiet squeak can be hard to pin down, especially if it only shows up once a day and clears after restarting FxSound. It could be FxSound, but it could also be related to the audio driver/device state, sample rate changes, sleep/wake behavior, or another app using the audio device.
If anyone else is seeing this, please chime in. In the meantime, a few useful checks would be: does it happen with all presets, does it continue when no audio is playing, and does switching the Windows output device away and back also clear it, or only restarting FxSound? That would help narrow down whether it’s on the FxSound processing side or lower in the audio stack.
