So if I have FxSound on for too long my music (or any playback from anywhere) will cut out for a second every couple of seconds. It happens very randomly sometimes I’ll go hours without this issue happening or it’ll happen within 20 minutes of first turning FxSound on. The playback itself doesn’t pause, the audio cuts out then resumes like nothing happened. It seems to get worse over time, like going from pausing every 30 seconds to every 5 seconds, ruining my listening.
I have tried cleaning and re-plugging in my earbuds, reinstalling the driver, fully uninstalling then reinstalling the newest version of FxSound, restarting the Windows Audio service and restarting my computer, but turning off FxSound completely is the only fix I’ve found.
The audio is perfectly fine otherwise, no crackling or distortion, it just cuts out for no reason. Makes FxSound almost impossible to use sometimes… Would love to see a fix for this.
The thumbnail/icon for FxSound is gone too but I’m not sure if that’s related.
