Settings Auto-Switch Sound Output has been removed

I take it back. After a few days of working fine, the app is auto-switching from my primary speakers (desktop) to my secondary speakers (monitor) again. I turn my monitor off when I go to sleep or leave the house for an extended period of time. When I turn the monitor back on, FXSound switches to the monitor speakers. On 1.2.13. This is no good. I’m going to have to roll back to an older version until it gets fixed or find an alternative app if it doesn’t.

Thanks @CarlS for the suggestion.

We will consider overriding the output device preference list with an option.

Thank you. Something I forgot to say -Windows 11 retains all my devices in an “unconnected” state, and when I turn one on, it auto-connects. Thus FXsound will see that one as the newest-connected device, which is why auto-switching worked so well (for me, at least). The soon-to-be-released ability to multi-connect more than one output complicates that somewhat, but there is where the priority list will help. I hope. So far, it allows choosing which monitor/sound bar is the one initiated at login. Unlock though is which one was last active. Maybe an external A/B switch (with 10 choices) is the answer, but a software-programmable switching package (such as FXsound) seems less cumbersome.
