Save New Preset is greyed out

1 I alter a preset
2 An asteric appears next to the preset name
3 I click the 3 bar icon and menu appears
4 “Save New Preset” is greyed out. Unavailable.
5 But “Overwrite Existing Preset” is not greyed out. Available.

I would like to Save this newly altered preset. But I cannot (i.e. I don’t know how to do it).

What version of fxsound do you use?

version 1.1.21.0
Maximum user defined preset limit is increased to 20 by default

v1.1.22.0 even supports up to 100 additional Presets.
Here are the instructions:

When I open FXSound I do not see the version number listed anywhere. Therefore I have no clue. All I know is that I downloaded it from the Microsoft Store less than a week ago. So it’s a very new version.

I managed to create exactly one preset. After that I cannot save any new preset that I have created because that option is greyed out.

With my own created preset, I can:
Overwrite it
Delete it
Rename it.

But I cannot save it.

Therefore if I want to change it, I can. But I cannot save the old version made before the changes, because I cannot save any preset ever for any reason.

In microsoft store old version (not developing now), if you need more presets - use current desktop version from https://www.fxsound.com/

Open the Settings with the hamburger located in the top right corner of the interface, click on Settings at the very top of the drop-down menu, and go to the Help tab of the Settings. You will find your installed version number there.

See also point 1 of the troubleshooting list, at the top of the forum.

OK, thanks. I’m up to 1.1.22 now and can save my created presets.

I find FxSound to be a lot easier to arrange audio quality and less buggy to use then Equalizer APO and Peace.
Which is why I donated to FxSound
Again thanks for your help.
