I purchased a high-end HP Omen 16 for both general use as well as using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for a lot of photo editing. I retired recently and have found my old desire for gaming, particularly online FPS games as well as Sims series such as SimCity, and I also like World of Tanks and World of Tanks Blitz FPS/strategy games. However, my 2018 HP 17.3" touchscreen Envy with a GeForce 960MX graphics card simply could not run demanding games. It was ok in World of Tanks, but that’s about it. But it had the Bang & Olufsen speakers, which sounded fantastic. Back to the new Omen, the speakers were barely audible. I tried everything from different drivers and online troubleshooting to every setting I could find, to no avail. So I tried a couple other so-called volume boosters that did very little or nothing. I then came across your app, and holy cow, I actually have to turn the volume down for most things. I did the manual equalizer settings, mainly raising the midrange area and a bit of treble, as the tiny speakers can’t handle any increase in bass. So a big shout-out and thank you for your work developing the app!
