Issue with FXSOUND and Baseus Bass 35 Max Bluetooth Headphones - Equalizer Stops Working When Using Microphone

Hello!

I’m having an issue with FXSOUND and my Baseus Bass 35 Max Bluetooth headphones that I haven’t been able to resolve. Here’s a detailed description of the problem and what I’ve already tried:

  1. Using the equalizer:
  • When FXSOUND is activated to enhance the sound, it works fine for audio output (whether for gaming or music), providing improved sound.
  1. Problem when using the microphone:
  • When I open applications that require the use of the microphone (such as Discord or CSGO), the equalizer stops working correctly.
  • Instead of continuing to apply the FXSOUND effects, the sound reverts to the default configuration, as if the equalizer is turned off.
  1. Attempts to solve the issue:
  • I tried configuring FXSOUND to also affect the input (microphone), but this causes the microphone to stop working completely, even though the applications continue applying FXSOUND effects.
  1. What I need:
  • Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone know how to prevent the equalizer from stopping when using the microphone? Or, if anyone has any recommendations on how to properly configure FXSOUND, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for any help or suggestions you can provide!

It sounds like the issue is that the FxSound processing on the output stops when you’re microphone, is that right?

I do want to be clear, however, that FxSound can’t process input devices.
