Hello again Benji;
As far as I know, there are only a limited number of ways to “get rid of” FxSound:
-
Disabling from Control Panel > Sound;
-
Disabling from Windows Sound Settings;
-
Uninstalling from Control Panel > Uninstall or change a program;
-
Removing the FxSound Audio Enhancer driver from Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers;
-
Uninstalling with specialized full uninstaller software.
-
Here is a list of methods how to open the Control Panel in Windows 10 and 11 for options 1 and 3 described above:

Here is a list of methods how to open the Windows Sound Settings for option 2:

Here are the instructions on how to manually remove the driver for option 4; please note, you will need to restart your computer afterwards, and you’ll still want to check in Control Panel (under Uninstall or change a program) afterwards to verify it is uninstalled there, and, if not, uninstall it through Control Panel as well:
- Here is a list of uninstaller software for option 5, you should be able to complete the process by looking up and following the instructions given by the programs themselves:

Let me know if this was helpful or not, and please share which of these methods you have tried so far.
Also, you haven’t shared which version of Windows you are running yet, so that information would be useful too.
The last time you posted, it seemed like the problem was more or less stable, and there was no news from you since:
