Fxsound stops any audio playback when DP monitor goes to sleep

Hi all,

So I’ve been playing all night with my new desk govee lights and testing my new speakers with delight.
First and foremost, thank you for FxSound.

I noticed anytime my monitor goes to sleep, the sound will stop playing when FxSound is active.

1 - this is not a HDMI issue, monitor is connected using Display port and sound is played through USB from the PC or optical out.
2 - this behavior does not happen when FxSound is turned off, the sound then continues playing correctly when the monitor is turned to sleep by the system.

I tried disabling all other audio outputs etc. Nothing works and the problem only happens when sound is played through FxSound.

edit : to clarify, stopping FxSound, and having the monitor going to sleep when sound is played through default windows playback devices does not cut the sound.on the machine. The problem only happens when FxSound is used.

Using an Oled screen, my monitor sleep settings are aggressive. I will try using a blank screensaver for now.
I haven’t found any other topic besides the classic HDMI audio output case.

Any help would be appreciated

I think this is the same behavior as described here as I am using Firefox, so not a soundFx issue but a browser unwanted behavior thing rrr !

Will try the native player app for playing music to test it out later.
