FxSound Stopped Detecting my Bluetooth Headset

If the headset supports 2 channels and not listed in the device properties, you can check with the manufacturer. If any driver is required for the device, you can install it.

@dinasor:
Could you please try disabling all the checkboxes which are marked in the above image, for Exclusive Mode and Signal Enhancements, as well as all Spatial Audio options?
And maybe check the rest of the settings under General and Levels too.
It’s quite possible the sample rate and bit depth options might be available to be changed again after that.

Hello, sorry for raising this topic before, but the issue is not resolved for me, I have been trying to fix it for a long time and this is what I found out, the bluetooth headset is divided into Headset (one-channel conversational headset) and Headphones (two-channel headphones), in @dinasor you can see that Headphones is unplugged. try to turn it on somehow. I don’t know how to fix it so that the Headset connects, I turn off FxSound when I talk to someone

sorry for the english, this is the translator

This is probably the reason.
FxSound does not support Mono (single-channel) devices.
EDIT - Captain Obvious…

Hello, I followed the entire topic and I have the same problem as the creator of this topic. My Bluetooth headphones are stereo connected to my cell phone but on the PC they are mono, it just says it has 1 channel and I can’t change it, even if I change all the other settings on the Windows page, it still remains greyed out.

Hi Gonçalo,

One single, specific pair of Bluetooth headphones?
Brand and model number?
Producing stereo audio when connected to your computer via Bluetooth?
Producing stereo audio when connected to your computer via jack or USB?
Have you checked the product’s manual and support pages?
Have you tried running the Configurator option in Windows Sound (bottom left)?

There is currently no known fix for the Mono issue. Vijay investigated it, and there is a way to get Mono devices added to the drop-down device selection menu, but, not to enable actual processing and boosting of their signal.

The headphones are Bluetooth only and the brand is Philips, model TAT1207WT. I’ve already tried changing the Windows settings to 2 channels, updating the drivers and nothing. I’ve also looked on the brand’s forums but haven’t found anything. The strange thing is that the headphones are stereo (said in the product specifications and on my cell phone the stereo feature works perfectly). In the past, where it shows all output devices, 2 new devices appeared when I turned on the headphones, one was “helmet” and one with another name. And the one with another name, I think the headphones already worked with stereo but it no longer appears.

Then I’d suggest completely removing the headphones via the Devices window, rebooting, factory-resetting the headphones, and re-adding them to your computer’s Bluetooth list. Hopefully, the original setup will reappear after doing so. I know Bluetooth is finicky, so it might require some tinkering to accomplish, but if the current situation is unsatisfactory, then it’s worth a try.
You could also test this by asking some help from people around you, if someone you know is willing to try adding them to their computer’s Bluetooth list, for example. Or, if the results are different with a Bluetooth USB dongle.
