FXSound interferes with Premiere Pro

I spent about two hours diagnosing an issue with Premiere Pro. When I tried to play back any footage, it was skipping and the audio sounded like it was in a tunnel. I resorted to the basics and looked for any changes made between when I used Pr Pro last and when the stuttering started. The only change was FXSound was installed. I tried disabling it, but the stuttering continued. After a full uninstall, Pr Pro worked fine.

TLDR; Don’t use FXSound if you edit with Premiere Pro

It is similar to what all users of professional music production software have previously reported on the forum.
So, we can add professional video production software (like Adobe Premiere Pro) to the list of known incompatibilities.
