[Feature Request] On Disconnect return to "Last Used" Audio Connection... Instead of Top in List

So, when we are using our “Bluetooth” Headphones for example, and we put them away, Windows will just connect to the “Last used” Audio Device, like in my case I’m using my computers Headphones.

However, Fx will just auto-connect to the “Top” device in it’s list apparently.
It should NOT work this way. It should just auto-connect to the last used device. We can always select something else if we want to. But we shouldn’t have to always manually select the device we want every time we disconnect a device.

Further feature… We shouldn’t have to “select” the option in FX for “Newly connected Audio Device”… It should just by “default” if it detects a new audio connection just “auto-connects” to it, again, just like Windows does.

For example, when I pull out my Bluetooth Headphones, so I can do something away from the computer, Windows will just auto-connect to them when I pull them out of their case. FX should also do this.

In conclusion… I would request that it’s okay if you want us to select a “Default Device” like you currently have, but auto-connect on any “new” connection, especially Bluetooth, and then either “auto-return” to the “last device used” OR to our “default selected” device.
Maybe you can add a New Setting asking us “which” we would like most, to return to our default choice, or return to the last used.

Thank you for the time and for the product… Not having the return to last used or default makes me not want to use FX.
Please fix this… pretty please… Thanks much.

One way of achieving this is to select your Bluetooth Headphones as the preferred device. So, it will be the default device and it will be selected by FxSound any time it is connected.

That doesn’t do anything…
The problem I’m having is when removing the Bluetooth, the connection goes to the “First” connection in your Settings Dropdown list (in my case my Monitor Speakers are listed first in your Settings), instead of either the “Last Used” or a “Default” option.

FX is able to connect to the Headphones when I put them on, either by selecting them as the Default, or as the “Newly connected Audio Device”, but the problem is putting them away. The connection “defaults” to the “First” Audio device in your list. (this is what needs to be changed).

Of course, if I have my computer set as Default, then it will connect to that when removing my Bluetooth, but then FX doesn’t “detect” my Bluetooth when I take them out, I have to “manually” select that connection.

A “simple” Fix is to simply have the connection go to the “last used” Audio device when an audio device is removed, instead of the “first” device in your list. This is what Windows does on its own.

We never have to “select” a connection, unless it’s a separate unique connection for a special purpose. It just automatically connects to my Bluetooth when I pull them out, i.e. Windows is detecting the New Connection and Connecting to it, and then when I put them away it automatically connects to my last used device, i.e. my Computer Headphones, which are the main ones, default I use.
This is also how FX needs to work…

If you could change this functionality… it would be really helpful. Would like to use FXsound, but as is I can’t. To inconvenient always manually having to change the connection for basic use.
Pretty please…?
