I updated to the version mentioned in the title of this post, and my last connected device no longer works as it did in previous versions.
I use my USB headphones connected to a USB hub with On/Off buttons, and this was very convenient for me because I just had to “turn on” the headphones using the button, and the audio was automatically routed to them, and then turn them off, and the audio returned to the speakers.
How is this in this version, or how can I make it work without using keyboard shortcuts?
there is a v1.2.9 if you want to try, mr.dev made the improvements and it works pretty seemingly. Otherwise, it’s still pretty short-work to “disallow” fxsound in the sound settings or simply use the default preset (0 changes should sound the same as no fxsound on)
Is this what you’re looking for? 1.2.8 and 1.2.9 have this option (i forgot if it’s in 1.2.7 since i’ve updated a while ago)
tho I was rereading and wonder if I misinterpreted what you meant here. did you mean speakers as in “FXsound Audio Enhancer” in “output device” setting or actually your hardware speakers speakers?
btw some screen shot for my earlier suggestions:
does this GIF look like what you wanted? currently it switch back to my audio devices (headphones, earbuds, speakers, etc.) smoother than butter for me. though I'm sorry for the motions headache, my finger can't stop
