I’m using a bluetooth headset (Jabra Evovle2 85) on a new Windows 11 (24H2) Laptop.
Everytime I connect the headset, Windows immediatly recognizes it but I can’t select it inside FxSound.
My workaround is: Open the Windows Sound Setting - go to Playback - set my headset as Default Device - then FxSounds shows them.
But I hope in the near future it will automatically show up.
Hi, welcome.
Have you already tried setting the headset as the Default Communications Device, and what are your results with that?
Since FxSound works best when the FxSound Speakers device is set as the Default Device.
You can also find a troubleshooting list with the most common tips and suggestions bannered and pinned to the top of the forum.
P.S.: Worth adding, perhaps: this thread mentioned the same Jabra device as yours, but with a USB connection (I know Bluetooth is a much more pleasant way to listen),
Just set it as the defaul com. device - did not improve anything.
Either I have to restart the FxSound App or I need to do the workaround I mentioned in the initial post.
