Ok, I’ve been using the Beta release v1.1.33.0 since it was published 3 days ago, and everything has worked well—I haven’t had any issues whatsoever.

The mentioned changes behave as intended.

Good job @bvijay and thank you.

Keep up the good work.

Thank you @Shepard-N7! I really appreciate you for spending time and effort to test the beta version. It helps us a lot.

Well I’m only waiting for that ultimate update - manual Hz/kHz settings instead of sliders/odd non-integer values. My system has zero issue with this fantastic app otherwise.

Volume normalization - Why did you hide it inside? it should be with all sliders.

Does it trim the high sound like a limiter?

ps - I didn’t hear any difference when I turned it on or off

normalize volume working perfectly…awesome feature

What is she doing? how does it work? I don’t hear any difference.

There is no difference between normalize “on” or normalize “off” on the audio.

here i can tell/if on the background or anything else become more pleasant for the vocal and for sound boommy become less and if you on let say you start 6db it reduces to 4 or 5 db depending you equipment…i have large pa equipment here so i can tell what the different immediately…

is the sound coming from a browser or another software?

Volume normalization tries to keep the volume gain to a consistent level. The target gain is selected from the slider and we calculate the average power through RMS and try to keep it within the selected level. If Volume normalization is disabled then this algorithm is not applied to the audio samples.
You can try different audio clips and see if you hear the difference due to volume normalization.

and where is the function so that quiet voices can be heard normally in the film?
The Windows driver does something similar in “Loudness Equalization” but this narrows the width of stereo perception.

Thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

Beta version is now in release channel? So why update module still says that “your software is up to date”?

My bad - it’s still in beta.
