Another "Saving Presets" Victim

In this case, either removing the driver manually, or uninstalling with specialized software, seem like the fixes worth trying.
Either way, a screenshot - even a cropped and completely anonymous one - would be more helpful than trying to solve this blindly.

• Since the FxSound driver can be removed with relative impunity, you could try performing a manual driver uninstall;

• If all else has failed, you could try uninstalling with specialized full uninstaller software.

I’ve also included some links to alternative audio enhancers at the end of my troubleshooting list, if not having an option to save Presets is a dealbreaker (which I would understand).

You’re always at liberty to switch to another audio enhancer; so here’s a list of alternatives (thanks to @Tarek_Hasan for sharing):

• Chrome EQ extension – free
• FireFox EQ extension – free
• EqualizerAPO – free
• SteelSeries Sonar – free (see elaboration below)
• DeskFX – free (see warning below)
• Neutron Music Player for Windows – paid (lifetime access costs around 9$ for each platform)

SteelSeries Sonar is better than any paid software. It’s free but needs an account to work.
DeskFX is from NCH software, which has a reputation for providing buggy software. Their software are notorious for difficult to uninstall and making a mess in windows registry.
