Annoying pop-up on Windows bootup when FXSound is not the default

I use my Windows 11 laptop with a pro-audio mixer via USB connection, so I have to change the Sound input and output to the mixer instead of FXSound, but I still want to switch back to FXSound when I take the laptop out to a coffee shop or something like that. When Windows boots up in the USB mixer input/output mode, I get an annoying pop-up saying Oops! FXSound encountered a problem, try these troubleshooting steps. How can I get rid of this? Thank you.

Hi Ari.
The Oops pop-up usually happens when the FxSound Speakers device in Windows Sound Settings is disabled, to alert users of a problem with the device.
In your case, you’ve already explained the reason why it happens.
I would simply advise you not to worry about it. The pop-up is completely harmless; you can just close it, nothing bad will happen.
After all, as the old saying goes: you can’t have your pro-audio mixer via USB connection set as the Default Device, and use FxSound as the Default Device at the same time, too. :moon_cake:
