After uninstalling FXSound it is still showing on my Realtek Audio driver

Hi,

I’ve been having problems with my audio system. I’m using a Logitech speaker with an RCA connection. As such I downloaded FxSound which solved my problem for about 2 hours and then nothing would work. I managed to uninstall FxSound but unfortunately, I still have no sound. When checking my Realtec Audio driver I discovered the following:

C:\Program Files\FxSound LLC\FxSound\Drivers\win10\x64

Why is FxSound showing and Realtec isn’t? How can I remove this? I’d be grateful for any help.

JEB

Please check if “FxSound Audio Enhancer” device is present in device manager. If the device is not present there is nothing to worry about and FxSound would have been completely uninstalled.

Are there any files present in the folder C:\Program Files\FxSound LLC\FxSound\Drivers\win10\x64? You can delete the files if they are present.

Hi bvijay,

Thanks for the info. I’d like to close this forum topic: how can I do this?

Hi @JEB

You can click the spanner button and then select the Close Topic option.

Hi @bvijay,

Thanks for the info - I’ve checked everywhere, but it doesn’t seem that I have a spanner button available. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
