What is the Windows version?

Which version of FxSound are you trying to install?

the latest version of FxSound that was just released. and I have Windows 11 (if it wasn’t obvious from the windows 11 setting screenshot in image 3 link)

I have checked installing v1.1.34.0 on both Windows 11 ARM64 and Windows 11 x64, and not able to replication the same installation error.

You can try installing v1.1.35.0 which is still in pre-release. The build is available at Release Version 1.1.35.0 · fxsound2/fxsound-app

i got the same error again. from the one you told me to install.

This error quite unique and so far nobody has reported it.

Can you try installing an older version, say v1.1.31.0 from Releases · fxsound2/fxsound-app?

You can also share the logs to from the installation by running the installer from command line with the command fxsound_setup.exe /L*v install.log

I can’t uninstall FxSound, because i get the same “not marked for installation” error. So me attempting to install an older version will just tell me that i have a new version already installed.

(I’m going to try and wipe the installation location, and see if that works, one sec)

maybe this will help you, this is the info of what was made ands etc when it was installed: Info from when it was installed - Album on Imgur

(hopefully, if it doesn’t im just going to wipe it all from the hard drive)

(the image contains all the Regex Indexs created at installation + All the information stored in those indexs)

Sorry for the multiple replys, after using Revo Uninstaller so that i can find all the installation files and created Registry Indexs and wiping them from the computer, then re-installing FxSound i no longer got the issue. So hopefully others who also have the same issue will know how to fix it for themselves. And hopefully you guys can figure out how to make sure this issue doesn’t happen to anyone else.

For those wondering how to backup your personally created FxSound Presets, they are located in %appdata%\FxSound\Presets
If you copy all the files in here to a different folder, then wipe everything, then paste these back in that location you will have your presets available again.
Important Note: You will need to restart the program for the presets to show themself again.

Now i can open it!

Version: 1.1.34.0
