when I turned on my PC today my system sound was a lot quieter than it used to be. I have been using FxSound for years to boost my volume, and it broke all of a sudden today. I have tried installing an older version and the newest one, and I did most of the trouble shooting already, I am just unsure on what to do next. Its probably noteworthy, that I did a Windows update last night. It still works, its just a lot quieter than it used to be, for reference, I used to have my Windows Volume at around 20-25, now I have to put it to 70-80 to match that, which I cant really do.
I have corrected this effect on many PCs by disabling/enabling “Loudness Equalization” thru Sound Properties or Volume Mixer.
I am not in a position *to provide a walk-thru for you. Most advanced users have seen this setting. Please advise if the hint listed above is not sufficient or fails to correct the problem.

hey, thank you for the response. unfortunately my headset does not support that option, its the hyperx cloud 3. I will also mention, that I am using a laptop. Thank you very much.
The headset does not support Loudness Equalization hence there is no Enhancements tab. Either way I managed to fix my issue by updating the headsets firmware and will move on without using FxSound. Thank you for the help
