The audio dropdown preset option selector is greyed out and cannot be selected. It is set on General. I can select the output device.
I have reinstalled, restarted my computer, and reset to default settings to no avail.
Thanks

Hi, welcome to the forum.
Have you read the troubleshooting list at the top?
Have you tried running as Administrator?
Could you tell me which version number you have in the Help tab of FxSound’s Settings, and could you check and share the number of Preset .fac files inside the folder
C: > Program Files > FxSound LLC > FxSound > Factsoft
Which is where all the factory-default Presets are normally saved?
Thank you. Yes I have. Version 1.1.26.0. This just started today, it even says ‘FxSound is off’ in the icon toolbar.
There are 12 preset FAC files in there as well as Default.
Windows 11 PC
Which means they’re all there, yet they cannot be used.
So then - if you don’t mind me asking - how long have you been using FxSound, and when did you update to v1.1.26.0?
And are you still noticing a difference in your audio with FxSound On?
Did you create or add any custom or Bonus Presets?
And are you able to alter the Effects and Equalizer sliders and to save new Presets with the new settings?
Hmm… so I was able to right click the icon and simply select ‘Turn on’. Seems to be functioning now. I don’t know why it was turned off as I never did and this never happened in the few years I’ve been using it.
I don’t remember manually updating it recently. I didn’t add or edit anything.
Thanks for the help though
