Turn off auto check for updates

Hello,

Maybe I am blind, but I can’t see an option to turn off the auto checking for updates? I don’t want to update the software but every couple of days it pops up with a notification asking me to update. How do I turn this off? I can’t see anything in the GUI, is there a registry key?

I did try searching through the help section on this site but haven’t found this answer.

Hi @Errol,
In Task Scheduler, you can delete FxSound > Update to avoid the auto update prompts.
