The microphone isn't working while in the game

My dad is a CS2 player. I bought this cursed card so he could hear the sound better.But it didn’t work the way I wanted, so I deleted it hoping it would fix the problem. Now the same problem persists. My father is very upset. Please help. And I just deleted the app. .

wait what card, did you mean fxsound? i’m sorry but… it’s been free, like totally free now. where’d you buy the “cursed card”??

another thing is FXsound doesn’t do anything to the input mic, I’ve had it for a good while now and haven’t run into a mic related situation with this app

Though I understand it’s stressful with your dad situation, but I’d slow down a little before lock-in my mindset that fxsound’s the evil culprit… lots of the times it’s not
I’m reluctant to decide where to start “helping” here bc of how fast you dismissing the info, and still give 0 info like girl, you need to help some of us out to help you

ultimately if you’d like my help still, take some times and describe details what happened, pics, vids, gif? the reason is I can’t just psychic outta my mind and pin point 1 in 10,000 problems to “help”[1]

believe it or not, I am the one who mess up my own pc a whole lot (just for fun and testing my limits…), and while sometimes it looks like “for good” ruined, it’s not.[2]. I haven’t seen the end of the world and so haven’t you, if everything else works just fine besides the sound. But rest is up to how much effort you are taking to seek help. [3]

I looked for a solution quite a lot. I checked the devices and also fixed the Windows sound settings, I did exactly the same thing.

yes, but my point is like is there a more detailed description?? I get it you have done troubleshooting[1] and you mentioned uninstalling it, but still we have no info or whatsoever (not forget to mention where in the world you “bought” the app when it’s completely free??? That’s what irks me the most yet..)
