I installed the most recent upgrade this morning. Have been using FxSound for countless years for transcription work, recommended to many colleagues. This time though the upgrade changed the setting in my PC running Windows 11 and there was no sound whatsoever because this system has no speakers and my audio comes through my headphones.
Thankfully a tech savvy family member happened to be at home and figured it out or I would have lost a whole day of work because nothing like this has ever happened before and I didn’t even realize there was a speaker setting for nonexistent speakers.
Hopefully future upgrade won’t have this issue! If I can’t get any sound I can’t work!
