I have seen on other forums people with FxSound having the same issue as me. When first downloaded from the MS store FxS worked and displayed on the screen. But later when clicking to open it, it would only open for a fraction of a second and then disappear.
The solution was to run FxSound as an administrator. It works every time that way.
Find the program in the Start menu program list OR the program FxSound .exe file in the main folder and then right click and choose Properties. Check the box Run As Administrator.
From then on you never have to do this again. Because now it will always run as administrator every time.
Also you could also right click and Pin to the Taskbar, if you want.
