The sound is almost none existent when I play literally anything, I used the FX Sound diagnosis thingy that the forum told me to use this problem just popped out from nowhere is it because I accidentally reset the preset to default in the setting two times?
So I just had this issue sort of?! I log in to my PC load everything as normal but get no sound - at all - So doing all of the suggested things use the fxdiag (crap imo) I get FxSound at 100% Active, and VLC Media Player (testing Sound) at 12% Active. There was no Sound! My solution was to uninstall FxSound and reinstall it, not sure if it makes a difference but I use Revo Uninstaller to remove apps to clear registry and leftover files. The reinstall worked.

If FxSound suddenly started acting up, I’d try restarting the app and checking whether the default Windows playback device has changed. If that doesn’t help, resetting FxSound’s settings or reinstalling it can often clear up a corrupted config.
