so whenever im using my pc and use my airpods it continues using my pc’s speakers even tho i connected my airpods (this issue never happened before i downloaded fx sound)
Related?
nope it just doesn’t switch to my airpods when i connect them
actually never mind this seems to be happening often with no real fix, will there be any fix soon or will i just have to uninstall it?
I don’t even know what the exact problem is, and we don’t apply device-specific fixes.
There’s a troubleshooting list bannered at the top of the forum…
i never said it was a device specific one, this is a link of the same problem you answered Problems detected my Bluetooth headphones - #2 by doolhoofd
In Windows Sound Settings, you can disable the FxSound Speakers device while not needed, and re-enable it when needed.
We are actively working on improving Bluetooth functionality.
i use a legion go so its gonna get a bit annoying swapping from airpods to speakers every time but thanks, is there any way i could get an email or something to know about an update so i could reinstall it?
News about updates will be shared on the ChangeLog, on GitHub, as well as here on the forum.
There is no mailing list for those.
There’s an “Automatically switch to newly connected output device” option in the General tab of FxSound’s Settings…
doesn’t work
Q:
Which model of AirPods?
Which version of FxSound?
Which version of Windows?
If Airpods “Stereo” is getting listed in FxSound but “Hands-Free” is not getting listed, then it is because we don’t support mono devices. We have a fix for this and it will be available in the next release.
- not real airpods just some bootlegs but still bluetooth
2 and 3. latest ones
Okay, thanks.
Is the Bluetooth device present in FxSound’s device selection list, or does it simply remain undetected?
whenever i open it and turn it off and connect my airpods THEN it recognizes them but its not just open and listen like it used to
I highly recommend visiting the manufacturer’s website to look for information on the product, like technical specifications, its manual, and troubleshooting suggestions for that specific device.
You haven’t mentioned anything about the actual brand and model of your Bluetooth headset so far in this entire thread: you described them as AirPods, which they turned out not to be, and at the same time, you placed the blame for your problem on us from the very beginning.
For the purpose of troubleshooting, that seems like a pretty disingenuous modus operandi.
they are just unbranded bluetooth airpod fakes also its not with the earbuds whenever i use them normally its just pull them out and done but now when i use your thing (no hate really love it) it just doesn’t work like that
actually after i thought about it ill just use the app and let it only work with my computers speakers so that i dont need to do all this, and when you guy’s app gets better bluetooth and stuff ill just go back to using it with my headphones, sorry about the trouble!
actually i found out a way to make this actually work well, ill just remap it to a keyboard shortcut and turn it on before i go out with my pc thanks and sorry for the trouble
