FX keeps shuttig down if inactive

Just recently I find that if FX has been inactive for a while (no audio being played) it has automatically shut itself down. Is this a new feature? If so – it’s annoying.

Can you please share the log file %APPDATA%\FxSound\fxsound.log. It will help us find out if the application has crashed.

Where would I find such a file. What is the path?

The path is %APPDATA%\FxSound

File name is fxsound.log

%APPDATA% is the environment variable and the path varies based on the username on the PC.

Starting at C\ , how do I get to %APPDATA\FxSound ?

Type %APPDATA%\FxSound in explorer search bar. It will open the relevant folder.

Is this (attached) the correct file

(Attachment fxsound.log is missing)

I am getting my file bounced back with the following message, and now it seems my eial address has been blacklisted by your mail server:

Do you want me to try uploading the file. Nothing in the diretory younspecified was called fxsound.log just "

fxsound"

**Unfortunately some attachments in your email message to [“incoming+3a2aaa83afec59da07ae5c5be8db5104@fxsound.discoursemail.com”] (titled Re: FxSound: FX keeps shuttig down if inactive) were rejected.

Details:
fxsound.log: Sorry, the file you are trying to upload is not authorized (authorized extensions: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, webp, txt).**

If you believe this is an error, contact a staff member.

The Text Document in explorer is fxsound.log. The extension is hidden in explorer.

Since the file could not be attached, you can open the log file in notepad and share the exception log. If you find any information in the log which says “Unhandled exception”, copy the complete details following that and paste it in your reply.
