Audio Leveling?!

Hi guys ! I have been working with music all my life and I believe this would be a great way for me to work on an audio related application to work on my skills…

Proposal:

Has anyone not thought about adding a separate on/off button on the GUI or creating a “Movie w/Leveling” template option?

Don’t you hate it when you are watching a movie at night but you have to keep turning the volume up and down because of certain scenes or the way certain music is mastered ? Well, Volume leveling is a great option for this application and I would love to work on it on if there are enough votes.

I believe this option would really add a great feature to apply while watching movies or while listening to music ! :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for the suggestion. I worry it’d be a feature that not many would use and it would take up a lot of real estate on the UX. But if enough people want it we’d consider it!

No problem. Well I guess something like this could be put in the settings instead of the main UX.

I think This idea would greatly improve an already great program even better as I watch
movies and TV on my computer.

Of course people will use it. Especially if you play games or watch movies with huge dynamic range, where you will have to choose between not killing your ears or neighbours nerves and hearing speech/small details of the soundtrack.
