HELLO, I USE FXSOUND LIKE FOR 4 YEARS AND IN THE LAST MOTH I CAN NOT USE IT. I TRY TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM DESINTLLING A REINSTALLING THE APP. ONLY I FOUND THIS PROBLEM WITH WINDOWS: AUDIO SERVICES DO NOT RESPONSE

FIRST THING I CAN THINK OF: HAVE YOU TRIED MANUALLY RESTARTING THE WINDOWS AUDIO SERVICE INSIDE THE WINDOWS SERVICES UTILITY (SAFEST OPTION) OR THE WINDOWS TASK MANAGER UTILITY?

Hello, first of all thanks for the help. I have tried both ways and it doesn’t work. It is not a Windows problem (or so I assume), the audio works normally, except when I go to the Windows settings and set FxSound as the audio output.

Which version of FxSound do you have installed, and which methods did you use to uninstall earlier?
Your version number is shown in the Help tab of the Settings menu, and you can update to the latest version from there as well by clicking the “Check for updates” link at the bottom.
Alternatively, you can visit fxsound.com and click the “Download for Windows” button anytime to get the installer for the latest release. Running that .exe will update the software as well.
Either way, it’s worth updating FxSound, and updating Windows with all available updates, first, before trying anything else.
