Gray color does not distinguish well from white.
And it’s even better to make a different icon (for example, a circle) when it’s turned off.
isn’t it already possible with tweaking apps like translucent TB or windhawk? (idk i thought I read about how much extensive customizable stuffs they have for taskbar, why don’t you give that a try)

right like how some eyes can’t distinguish anything. Wait til you find out you can just pop the fly out and look at its panel
