It used to work. Not anymore

Anyone else get this message and know how to fix it t "Oops! there’s an issue with your playback device settings. Before we can get started, please go through the troubleshooting steps here. Contact us if you’re still having problems.

What version are you using?

Thank you for responding! I finally got it to work. I checked my version and it said it was up to date. The problem was that my Dell computer updated drivers and switched sound from Realtek to Sound Wire or something - but several days and CoPilot’s help, I was able to reinstall Realtek. The only issue I have no is that my computer speakers will not work with Zoom so I have to get an external microphone and try that.

I use FX sound primarily for transcription work and haven’t had another chance to try that but at least I’m not getting the OOPs notice anymore! Again, I appreciate your response.

I had just wiped my storage data and reinstalled windows and after installing fxsound ( the most recent update ) and my other audio programs I got the same error with the playback device message, I sat and thought for a little bit and came up with the idea to just roll back one version and its back to working for me lol
