It would be great if there were a way to set hotkeys for specific playback devices (or “hide” specific ones from FxSound). I have about 6 due to streaming setups but only typically use 2 on a daily basis, and disabling them via Windows tends to cause issues. So, when using the hotkey to switch playback devices, I have to cycle through all of them.
hey! i myself don’t use this feature much, but I think you might be interested in Powertoys if you haven’t tried this out, there is a shortcut-remapping tool which i believe can do what you want. Lol microsoft should pay me for going around advertising like this, but ultimately I think powertoys will be best choice here since 1. it’s first-party/well and officially maintained, 2. well there’s some other bunch of toys that make life less depressing
