FxSound Audio Enhancer Service not installing

Hi,
I’m having a problem where FxSound installs and runs, but the “FxSound Audio Enhancer Service” never appears or fails to start.

  • No FxSoundService.exe file is created in C:\Program Files\FxSound LLC\FxSound.

  • The Windows installer never shows the “install FxSound driver/service” popup — only the UAC admin permission box.

  • Reinstalling as admin, cleaning folders, and running sc delete doesn’t help.

  • It started happening after I installed ASUS Armoury Crate.

Could you please send the FxSound service/driver repair installer or the proper fix for restoring FxSoundService.exe?

I do not have any of that either. Difference is, mine works.
Navigate to C:\Program Files\FxSound LLC\FxSound anbd locate fxsound.exe

Open it. What happens?

Mine is configured to open an icon in the notification tray by the clock. If that happens, Right click and choose Open.

There is no component called FxSoundService.exe which is required for FxSound.

FxSound Audio Enhancer device should be installed and available under Sound, video and game controllers device category. If the device is not found, please try reinstalling FxSound.
