When I want to play a song, all i get for am player is windows media player. fX Sound shows in my apps,but does not come up when i try to play a tune.

Good evening William, and welcome to the forum.
To clarify: FxSound is not a player like WinAmp, Windows Media Player, VLC or Neutron; it is a tool to enhance your audio.
Meaning, you cannot play music with it, but you can use it to edit the sound played through other apps and devices.
