Is there android app for fxsound? I wasn’t able to find one. I saw a sound fx but I think it’s a different developer. I’ve been using this app on windows for years now and it’s absolutely amazing.
There used to be one on the Play Store, but it was pulled, for reasons unknown to me (I’ll include a screenshot below).
And there were also plans in the works for a new and improved one, see the first thread linked below…
But, since August of this year, development of the software was discontinued - see second thread linked below - and the future of the software is currently uncertain.
Unfortunately Android prevents us from using FxSound processing on all audio on the device. The only work-around would be to create an FxSound music player. You could upload your own music files and we can offer the options to import tracks from streaming services like YouTube, Spotify, and Amazon Music (need to verify if we can import Apple Music songs).
The other non-ideal option would to be to create an EQ that doesn’t use FxSound processing, but it would have the FxSound brand.
Earlier this year we decided to make FxSound free for everyone. Since then hundreds of thousands of new users have gotten free access to better sound.
Our hope was that we’d be able to rely on user donations to support further development of the FxSound software. Unfortunately we’re just not making enough to do so.
We will continue to do our best to help you all with technical support issues here on the forum, but we can no longer afford to make new developments for FxSound.
I’d like to thank…
