I absolutely love the software but it doesn’t seem to store my “Preferred output“ selection in the Settings menu for more than a few days. I go into settings, change it and it works again for a few days (up to a week max) but then goes back to “None“ later on.
Is there any way to fix this?
Did you observe any other settings getting reset?
Preferred output value changes only through the settings dialog. If there is any settings reset it could be affecting other settings also.
I have the same problem for a long time already.
Can this be caused by changing amount of system speakers?
Is there any way to re-apply the default device 10 secs after start?
Adding the output device in the startup link doesn’t work/change the behavior:
“C:\Program Files\FxSound LLC\FxSound\FxSound.exe” --output=“Dell AW3423DW (NVIDIA High Definition Audio)”
same here. my chosen bluetooth device that’s on will not sound right away not until I select it on my laptop manually even app is already on “newly connected output device”. 
tried re-registering my bt speakers but I still need to re-select it….
